Below Deck's Captain Lee Rosbach 'will not return for season 11' amid health issues

Below Deck star Captain Lee Rosbach will not return for the upcoming season of the Bravo show, according to reports.

The 73-year-old will reportedly be replaced by Captain Kerry Titheradge for season 11, which is due to begin filming in Grenada later this week.

The reasons for Lee's exit have not yet been confirmed, but they come after he was forced to bid an emotional goodbye to his crew in season 10 to deal with ongoing health issues.

"I'm gonna go back to the States, get this straightened out and as soon as I do, I'll be on the first plane back here and tell whoever's on board to get the f**k off my boat," he told his co-stars as he broke the news of his departure.

He added: "As you guys know I've been struggling with my mobility, and it's been hard and I've let you guys down and for that, I apologise.

"So I've made a decision to leave the boat."

Lee had been forced to use crutches ahead of his exit due to severe nerve damage caused after undergoing back surgery.

According to US Weekly, Captain Lee's health issues have been improving but he will still be staying away from the upcoming season of the hit reality show.

Despite Captain Lee reportedly staying away from the show for now, he has said he doesn't plan to fully retire anytime soon.

Taking to Twitter, one fan asked: "@capthlr rumor has it that you’re not actually a captain, but rather a professional bullfighter. Any validity to that?

"Just kidding. In all seriousness, are you going back to work or hanging up the walkie-talkie for good? You’re the best, get well soon."

Lee replied: "Not planning on it anytime soon," much to the relief of fans.

"No, you are the ultimate Bullfighter on the yacht, Captain Lee," one person commented.

Another wished Captain Lee will be back soon, writing: "I miss boat daddy @capthlr #BelowDeck."

"We miss you come back already," a third fan urged.

Captain Lee is a firm fan favourite on Below Deck and has starred on the Bravo show since its debut back in 2011.
