Beloved dog stolen from Falkirk garden as cops hunt 'man with skip cap'

Police in Falkirk are on the hunt for a sick thief after a Staffordshire Terrier was taken from its owner.

Officers were called in after a man, believed to have been wearing a skip hat, entered the garden in Dollar Avenue at around 1:45pm yesterday afternoon, Sunday August, 22.

The pooch is reported to be small, white with black patch over one of its eyes.

Anyone with information is being asked to call cops.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in Falkirk received a report around 1.45pm on Sunday, 22 August, of the theft of a dog in Dollar Avenue.

"Anyone with information about this is urged to call 101, quoting incident 2111 of 22 August."
