Bellshill agree Cambuslang Rangers ground share as Rockburn Park blaze forces move for West of Scotland League debut

Bellshill Athletic have agreed to ground share with Cambuslang Rangers for the first half of their debut West of Scotland League campaign.

The Conference A outfit have been forced to look for a temporary home following a devastating blaze that ripped through Rockburn Park in April.

However, an agreement has been struck to make the switch across Lanarkshire to Conference B side The Lang for the first half of the season while repair work takes place main building and clubhouse.

Secretary Brian Closs told Lanarkshire Live Sport: "We hope that our repair work will be able to start in mid-July but are planning with the season starting in October in mind.

"Cambuslang Rangers have been tremendously helpful and have agreed for us to ground share with them for the first half of the season.

"We feel helpless just now as we are waiting for a lot of the work to start at the ground, but it's been great to have the support and generosity of Cambuslang."
