Bellator signs Stephan Puetz, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion

Stephan Puetz is the newest addition to Bellator’s light heavyweight division.

A 33-year-old German light heavyweight, Puetz (20-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) has signed a multifight deal with the company, a promotion official recently informed MMA Junkie.

A former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion, Puetz joins the Bellator roster as the current titleholder in the German MMA Championship and Fair FC. He’s riding a five-fight winning streak with four finishes in that stretch. In 20 professional fights, Puetz has accumulated 15 finishes.

Puetz is teammate of Bellator featherweight Daniel Weichel at MMA Spirit and holds wins over UFC heavyweight Marcin Tybura and Bellator light heavyweight Viktor Nemkov.

No debut opponent or date has yet been set for Puetz.
