Bellator London results: MVP finishes Giovanni Melillo with stunning KO, Fabian Edwards beats Mike Shipman

Michael 'Venom' Page added another devastating finish to his highlight reel with a first round knockout of Giovanni Melilo at Bellator London.

After breezing past Richard Kiely with a sublime flying knee finish at Bellator Dublin in September, MVP made a swift return to the cage to take on Italian welterweight Melillo in front of a hometown crowd.

Melillo took the fight on just eight days' notice after original opponent Derek Anderson was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Page was a class above from the opening bell, dropping his opponent with a huge right over the top to end the contest in brutal fashion.

In the co-main event of the night, Fabian Edwards secured a split decision win over old rival Mike Shipman.

The two have shared a simmering feud since their BAMMA days and had to be pulled apart following their pre-fight weigh in on Friday.

After a tight contest, Edwards had his arm raised as winner before jumping the cage, almost sparking a brawl in the first few rows.

Edwards, younger brother of UFC welterweight contender Leon, remains undefeated with his record now standing at 9-0.

Before that, former Cage Warriors champion Soren Bak marked his Bellator debut with a hugely impressive win over London's Terry Brazier.

Bak extended his record to 14-1 after a superb display of grappling, keeping Brazier under constant pressure before securing a clean sweep of the judges' scorecards.
