Bellator 286 salaries: Patricio Freire, Jeremy Kennedy lead all disclosed paydays

Twenty-six fighters competed Saturday at Bellator 286, but no one walked away with a higher disclosed purse than champion Patricio Freire.

California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) executive director Andy Foster released a full list of fighter payouts Saturday to MMA Junkie.

One of six fighters who pocketed six-figure disclosed paydays, Freire topped the list with $150,000 for his win over Adam Borics. Former UFC fighter Jeremy Kennedy made the second most, as he took home $110,000 for his win over Aaron Pico.

Former Bellator featherweight champion A.J. McKee, headlining title challenger Adam Borics, rising star Aaron Pico, and former Bellator bantamweight champion Juan Archuleta also took home six figures.

Richard Palencia: $15,000 for loss to Cee Jay Hamilton

Dominic Clark: $7,000 for loss to Lance Gibson Jr.*

* = Due to a weight miss, Dominic Clark was fined 20 percent of his purse, equal to $1,400.

Lance Gibson Jr.: $15,000 (no win bonus) for win over Dominic Clark*

* = Due to a weight miss, Lance Gibson Jr.’s opponent Dominic Clark was fined 20 percent of his purse, which equaled $1,400. Gibson Jr. received half of that, $700.

Ryan Lilley: $5,000 for loss to Weber Almeida

Weber Almeida: $36,000 (includes $18,000 win bonus) for win over Ryan Lilley

Nadine Madiau: $3,000 for loss to Sumiko Inaba

Sumiko Inaba: $24,000 (includes $12,000 win bonus) for win over Nadine Madiau

* = Carlyle was fined 20 percent of his original purse ($50,000 to show + $50,000 win) due to a weight miss. Carlyle made $40,000 due to the deduction.

A.J. McKee: $100,000 (no win bonus) for win over Spike Carlyle*

*McKee’s disclosed pay was $100,000 (no win bonus). However, Carlyle forfeited 20 percent of his purse ($10,000) due to a weight miss. McKee will pocket half of that fine, $5,000.

Adam Borics: $100,000 for loss to Patricio Freire
