SAN JOSE, Calif. — The Bellator featherweight grand prix won’t be Sam Sicilia’s first 16-man rodeo. The former UFC fighter competed on “The Ultimate Fighter 15: Live,” alongside the likes of James Vick, Al Iaquinta and teammate Michael Chiesa.
Sicilia returns for his fourth promotional outing at Bellator 226, where he’ll look to carry over his momentum from his most recent fight, a victory over Derek Campos in December. On the main card, Sicilia (16-9 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) takes on Team SBG product Pedro Carvalho (10-3 MMA, 3-0 BMMA).
Bellator 226 takes place Saturday at SAP Center. The main card streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie.
