SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Bellator 226 official weigh-ins are in the books, and the headliners are official for Saturday.
In the main event, heavyweight champion Ryan Bader (27-5 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) takes on challenger Cheick Kongo (30-10-2 MMA, 12-2 BMMA). Bader also is Bellator’s light heavyweight champ. He weighed in at 228.7 pounds. Kongo was 239.2 to make the headliner official.
Later Friday, they’ll get face to face at the ceremonial weigh-ins at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.
