STAMFORD, Conn. — Vitaly Minakov wore the Bellator heavyweight title once upon a time, and he’d like to do it again.
To get in position to earn a shot at the belt currently held by Ryan Bader, however, the 34-year-old Russian will have to get past brawler Javy Ayalain the co-feature bout of Bellator 225.
Bellator 225 takes place Saturday at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. The main card airs on Paramount and streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie.
