Bellator 225: Taylor Turner wants to be on the radar after Alejandra Lara fight

STAMFORD, Conn. – After one win over a highly touted opponent in her promotional debut, Taylor Turner is hoping to continue her momentum with another upset.

Turner (4-5 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) took out Heather Hardy earlier this year. Now she’s got her sights set on recent women’s flyweight title challenger Alejandra Lara (7-3 MMA, 1-2 BMMA) on the Bellator 225 main card. They’ll fight at bantamweight, though both plan to return to 125 pounds after this bout.

Bellator 225 takes place Saturday at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. The main card airs on Paramount and streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie.

Check out what Taylor had to say about fighting Lara, as well as flyweight vs. bantamweight, in the video above.
