Bella Hadid reveals she’s had Covid vaccine amid speculation over Met Gala absence

Bella Hadid has shared an image of herself getting vaccinated after speculation mounted as to why she was absent from the Met Gala.

Following Nicki Minaj’s revelation that she would get the vaccine to get on tour but not to attend the Met Gala, where it is a requirement, many were questioning why the 24-year-old supermodel failed to appear.

Her sister Gigi, 26, stunned Monday’s fashion extravaganza in a Prada gown, with the siblings usually attending the New York highlight together.

Those at the event were required to be fully vaccinated and the younger Hadid’s absence led to online speculation she was yet to get the jab.

However, Hadid shared a picture of her receiving the Covid-19 vaccine on social media, captioning the post: “for anyone concerned.”

It came as Trinidad and Tobago’s health minister dismissed Nicki Minaj’s claim that someone on the Caribbean island suffered swollen testicles after being vaccinated as “false”.

The Trinidad-born singer sparked an international furore when she alleged on Twitter that her cousin refuses to get vaccinated because his friend became impotent after being vaccinated.

“His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding,” Minaj, who has 22.6 million Twitter followers, said on Monday.

The comments triggered an international backlash with Professor Chris Whitty saying the Anaconda rapper should be “ashamed” of the tweet and Sajid Javid blasting the claim as “ridiculous”.
