Model (and soon-to-be aunt) Bella Hadid shared her excitement for her sister, Gigi Hadid, with a pretty hilarious Instagram post.
Since Gigi confirmed in April that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik, she’s kept most pregnancy news to herself. Instead, the 25-year-old, who is due in September, spent the duration of her pregnancy at her family’s farm in Pennsylvania, returning to her New York City apartment just last month.
Gigi also shared her first pregnancy photos in August, posting pictures from her professional shoot on Instagram. But younger sis, Bella, came through with a more candid shot of Gigi’s baby bump - and joked about her own “bump,” which was really just a food baby.
“Two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and Gigi’s is from @zayn,” Bella captioned the picture of her and Gigi cradling their stomachs. “I love you both so freaking much - can’t stop crying,” she added, noting that the picture was from June.
Before Gigi started sharing more details from her pregnancy, she explained to fans during an Instagram Live why she had been so quiet. “I think a lot of people are confused [about] why I’m not sharing more, but I’m pregnant through a pandemic,” Hadid said back in July.
“Obviously, my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world,” she continued.
“I have been taking a lot of pictures of my bump and sending it to friends and family, it’s been really cute and exciting - and I’ve been trying to document it well,” she assured her fans, after thanking them for their support.
