Believe in Scotland announces independence march and rally

A SCOTTISH independence march and rally has been confirmed for 2026.

Believe in Scotland (BiS), a leading campaign organisation consisting of 143 local and national Yes groups, has confirmed a national march and rally for the first half of next year.

Announces the event, BiS said: "With the next Holyrood election less than a year away, we want to keep independence at the heart of the national conversation.

"Our march and rally events don’t just make headlines, they build momentum, and show Scotland that the movement for self-determination is alive, positive, and preparing to win."

The march will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 2-5pm under the theme "end London rule".

The last march in September 2023 was attended by thousands, with BiS stating: "Let’s bring that same energy back."

They added: "This is your chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with people from across Scotland and send a clear message: Scotland’s future will be decided in Scotland, not in London."

Full details of routes, timings, speakers, and how to get involved will follow.
