Everton have confirmed that Kevin Mirallas has signed a new three-year contract.
The Belgium international had been the subject of transfer speculation this summer and was linked with a move to Tottenham and West Ham.
However, a statement published on Everton’s website on Friday confirmed the 27-year-old has agreed a new deal that will run until 2018.
“I’m very happy. I’ve signed at Everton to win a trophy. I’m at a good team and I can continue my performances here,” said Mirallas. “Now I am very happy because I can concentrate on my team and our future, starting with the Premier League tomorrow.”
Mirallas becomes the second first-team player at Goodison Park to sign a new contract this week, with James McCarthy having committed himself to a five-year extension on Thursday.
