Belfast weather forecast with sunshine and showers on Thursday

The Met Office say there will be bright or sunny spells with a few showers on Thursday.

According to the weather forecast for February 25, these showers will be mostly in the northwest and over high ground.

Many places will stay dry with fresh winds in the southwest at first, but turning westerly and easing. It will be quite mild with a maximum temperature of 9 C.

On Thursday night, it's predicted to be dry with clear spells.

The forecaster added: "Mostly light southwesterly breeze. A few mist or fog patches may form later in the night. Minimum temperature 2 C."

On Friday, any fog patches will clear, leaving a dry day with some good spells of sunshine.

The Met Office said: "A bit milder again, with moderate south to southwesterly breezes. Maximum temperature 11 C."

It's predicted to stay mainly like this over the weekend and into the start of next week with good spells of sunshine, but some overnight fog patches.

There may be a few light showers Monday.
