Belfast weather forecast suggest Saturday will be a wet and windy day

The Met Office predicts a wet and windy day for most of Saturday across the city.

According to its weather forecast for November 14, we are set for a grey day with outbreaks of rain.

And there's not expected to be any let up with showers turning heavier throughout the afternoon.

The sun will rise at 7.53am and go down again at 4.23pm.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 12 degrees from 9 degrees Celsius in the early morning.

But there could be a spot of sun from behind the clouds around 4pm, with scattered showers still expected at that time.

For Saturday, the forecaster says: "Most of the day will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain, these turning heavier through the afternoon for a time. Windy along the east coast, and more widely by evening. Maximum temperature 12 °C."

Sunday, however, is predicted to have some drier interludes.

The Met Office outlook for Sunday to Tuesday says:

Further rain at times on Sunday, some drier interludes too. Dry for most of Monday but rain spreading east later. Cloudy on Tuesday with some patchy light rain.
