Belfast weather forecast for Wednesday with sunny intervals

The Met Office say it will be mainly cold and dry across Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

A yellow weather warning for snow is in place until 11am this morning.

According to the weather forecast for February 10, many places will have some bright or sunny intervals.

The forecaster said: "Still the chance of a light snow shower across the south and east. Brisk wind along the east coast. Cold. Maximum temperature 2 C."

Tonight, it's predicted to be mainly dry with clear periods, with some "patchy cloud across the east perhaps bringing a light snow shower".

It will remain cold "with a widespread frost and the odd icy patch" and a minimum temperature of -2 C.

On Thursday, after a frosty start it will be dry with some sunny periods.

The Met Office added: "Feeling cold in the freshening southeasterly wind. Maximum temperature 3 C."

It will be dry and bright on Friday with some cold southeasterly winds.

It's set to remain windy on Saturday with a little showery rain.

The forecaster said there will be persistent rain on Saturday night, but then it's set to be mostly dry on Sunday.
