Belfast weather forecast for Wednesday with strong winds

The Met Office say we should have a dry and bright morning in Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

According to the weather forecast for April 7, there will also be "isolated wintry showers around the east coast during the morning".

It will be a cloudy afternoon with some light rain by the evening time and stronger winds, with a maximum temperature of 7 C.

Showery rain is expected overnight, but fortunately this is expected to clear by dawn.

The forecaster added: "Strengthening winds around the north coast but mainly light elsewhere. Minimum temperature 4 C."

Thursday will be windy with some blustery showers, but some sunny spells are due in the morning too.

The Met Office added: "A period of heavier rain expected by late afternoon or early evening. Maximum temperature 10 C."

And for the weekend, some wintry showers on Friday and Saturday are expected which will "brought in on cold northerly winds".

The forecaster added that it will then turn drier and brighter on Sunday.
