Belfast weather forecast for Wednesday with highs of 23C

The Met Office say it's set to be bright with some good spells of sunshine on Wednesday.

According to the weather forecast for June 2, it will be warm again with highest temperatures around the north coast reaching up to 23C.

Some showery outbreaks of rain are possible later in the day in the south.

The forecaster added that it will be a "cloudy evening and a few showers, possibly heavy with thunder, later in the night. Low cloud and fog likely around the east by morning" with a minimum temperature of 10C.

It will be a cloudy start on Thursday and "quite murky around eastern coasts". The Met Office say it will be bright and sunny by the afternoon for most, with some strengthening winds and a maximum temperature of 20C.

And as we come into the weekend, a few showers on Friday are expected and it's set to become cloudier, especially in the west.

The forecaster said: "Cloudy on Saturday with more significant rain on Saturday night but drier again on Sunday."
