The Met Office says it will be a bright start to Wednesday but will then turn to rain.

According to it's weather forecast for December 9, it's a dry start to the day but any sun will be "short lived as cloud thickens from the west".

The forecaster said: "Rain will spread across in the early afternoon with freshening southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 7 C."

It predicts that later on in the day, it will stay cloudy with "occasional rain this evening and tonight, though it will become light and patchy".

Winds are then set to fall light tonight and it will become misty with a minimum temperature of 5 C.

On Thursday, it will be a damp misty morning with some drizzle then strengthening winds will unfortunately bring some heavier rain in the afternoon. There will be a maximum temperature of around 8 C.

The Met Office say Friday to Sunday will be a changeable few days with some spells of rain but also "some brighter periods with occasional showers". Make sure to bring your umbrella out and about with you this weekend!
