Belfast weather forecast for Wednesday December 11

It's been cold, wet and windy the past few days and the bad news is that it doesn't look like it's going to change.

Scattered blustery showers are expected to hit the country today meaning you'll definitely need to bring an umbrella with you if you're out and about.

And with a maximum temperature of 5C expected, you should wrap up warm.

A weather warning had been in place for wind on Tuesday, and it looks like there'll be strong gusts today too.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Scattered blustery showers, these again most frequent in the west, with some sunny spells in between showers. Feeling cold in fresh to strong westerly winds. Maximum temperature 5°C."
