Belfast weather forecast for Tuesday predicts another mostly dry day

We haven't done too badly on the weather front in the past few days, and Tuesday looks sets to continue that trend.

A spot of rain is expected early in the morning and while the clouds will remain, the Met Met Office is predicting some sun for Tuesday afternoon around 2pm.

With a 10% chance of rain for most of the day, we could even manage to avoid the wet stuff for most of the day.

But make the most of it, because it is tipped to pour on Wednesday morning.

Temperatures are expected to peak at around 12 degrees on Tuesday, with a low of 10.

The sun will be up at 7.45am and go down again at 4.24pm, giving us just over eight hours of daylight.

Here's what the Met Office says about NI for Tuesday:

The low cloud will mostly clear to the east through the morning to leave a dry and bright afternoon, before rain arrives from the west late evening. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Wednesday, heavy at times, drier by evening. Staying dry until rain arrives Thursday evening. Sunshine and the odd shower on Friday. Rather windy throughout.
