Belfast weather forecast for Tuesday looking wet and cold

The day has started off pretty wet and cold - and that weather is set to stay with us for the rest of the morning and into lunch time.

While it is forecast to get somewhat brighter later on Tuesday October 27, temperatures will remain low.

However the Met Office says the chance of more showers on Tuesday evening is likely.

A Met Office spokesperson added: "The rain gradually clearing from the west this Tuesday morning.

"Turning brighter this afternoon with the chance of a few showers, these mainly across western counties. Brisk southeasterly winds along the east coast easing down later this morning.

"Maximum temperatures today, [Tuesday October 27] of 11C."

And for Tuesday night, there'll be some clear skies at first but otherwise often rather cloudy with the odd shower, these perhaps turning more frequent and occasionally heavy across the west later. Minimum temperature 6C.

Wednesday's weather forecast for Belfast looks will have some brightness at times otherwise cloudy with scattered showers, these occasionally heavy especially in the west, the Met Office said.
