Belfast weather forecast for Tuesday could be a little brighter

We know Monday was a bit hit and miss with the rain, but things are looking up for Tuesday on the weather front according to the experts at the Met Office.

It is set to be another grey day but the chance of rain throughout has dropped to a mere 10%.

The mercury is also expected to move skywards, with a high of 15 degrees Celsius predicted in the afternoon. Make the most of it as its tipped be another day for brollies, raincoats and wellies on Wednesday morning.

The sun will be up at 7.59am on Tuesday and go down at 4.18pm, giving us just over eight hours of daylight to boost the vitamin D stores.

Here's what the Met Office says for Tuesday:

Overcast day with some outbreaks of light and patchy rain, more especially in the west. Drier with some possible brightness around Belfast. Feeling mild but strong southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
