Belfast weather forecast for Thursday with some heavy rain

The Met Office says it's a damp, misty morning on Thursday with some light rain and drizzle especially in the east.

According to it's weather forecast for December 10, it's set to becoming generally dry for a time before some heavier rain moves spreads east in the afternoon with freshening winds. Maximum temperature 8 C.

The forecaster said for tonight, it's set to clear in the east, "however it will stay cloudy with some showers around overnight especially in the west".

It added: "Winds easing by morning but allowing mist and fog to form. Minimum temperature 5 C."

It's predicted that Friday will be another day of cloudiness and patchy, light rain mixed with a few drier spells.

The Met Office said: "Light winds will mean a lot of low cloud around. Maximum temperature 8 C."

For this weekend, it should be mainly dry on Saturday with some sunny intervals.

Then it will be cloudy on Sunday as a band of rain approaches from the west, with strong winds but clearing later. It will again be showery on Monday, so take your umbrella out and about!
