The Met Office say it should be a bright and dry morning with some sunshine.

Unfortunately, heavy rain "will sweep eastwards through the evening" so don't forget your umbrella!

This will clear in early hours with cloud breaking as strong southerly winds turn southwest, with the odd shower in northwest later. There will be a minimum temperature of 4 C.

It adds: "Fresh, occasionally strong southwest winds. Maximum temperature 11 C."

It'll be mostly wet and windy as the weekend begins on Saturday, drier overnight and Sunday morning will be wet and windy again.
