Belfast weather forecast for the weekend ahead

The Met Office say it's a grey and misty start for many on Friday, with fog patches.

However, according to the weather forecast for March 19, it is set to brighten up with some sunny spells developing.

The forecaster added: "Feeling rather warm in any sunshine with light winds. Maximum temperature 14 C."

Friday night will be staying mainly dry with occasional clear spells. Low cloud and mist is expected to become widespread overnight with a little drizzle over the hills and a minimum temperature of 5 C.

The Met Office say Saturday will be a "rather cloudy at first with mist and drizzle over the hills". The cloud should lift and skies should brighten during the day. Patchy light rain is expected later on in the evening.

The maximum temperature for Saturday is 12 C.

It's set to be mainly dry and bright on Sunday. The forecaster added: "Rather cloudy on Monday with a few showery bursts of rain pushing through. Rather cloudy and breezy on Tuesday."
