The Met Office have said it will be a largely cloudy but dry Monday for Belfast.

But according to the weather forecast for March 22, northern and western hills may see a few spots of rain and drizzle throughout the day.

The forecaster added: "Best of any brighter spells likely across more southern and eastern counties."

They also said there will be a "mainly light southwesterly breeze".

Throughout Monday night a few clear spells are possible across the south and east but it will generally remain cloudy, again with a little light rain and drizzle across northern and western hills.

We are also warned to expect freshening southerly winds.

The maximum temperature for Monday is 12 °C with a low of 4 °C.

Sunrise was at 6.22am and it will set again at 6.40pm.

As for Tuesday, they predict: "A cloudy but mainly dry start but some brighter spells developing. However cloud increases from the west with outbreaks of rain spreading east through the late afternoon.

"Strengthening southerly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C."
