Belfast weather forecast for the 2019 City Marathon

We're now just days away from this year's Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon and final preparations are well under way.

You've been through all the important stages at this point in the run up to the big day, and now it's time to consider that all important question... what's the weather going to be like?

It's the one thing sadly we can't control but according to the early forecast it's looking good for race day on Sunday , May 5.

According to the Met Office, Sunday looks set to be almost perfect conditions for runners with sunny intervals changing to cloudy by late morning.

It won't be too hot or cold either with temperatures set to peak at around 10C and wind speeds of just 12mph.

If you suffer from hayfever, the pollen count is forecasting moderate so fingers crossed it won't affect you too badly on race day.
