Belfast weather forecast for Sunday October 25 as strong winds and rain set to hit

After a fairly settled start to the weekend we can expect a breezy day on Sunday.

And if you're out and about in the morning you'll definitely need to have the umbrella with you as showers are forecast - so don't forget it!

On Saturday night 'many places will be dry with clear periods' but 'there will be a few showers, mainly in the west, strengthening southerly winds with a minimum temperature of 6C'.

For Sunday, the Met Office says: "A bright day with sunny spells. A few showers during the morning then more frequent and heavier showers edging in from west during afternoon and evening.

"Strong, gusty southerly winds. Maximum Temperature 12C."
