Belfast weather forecast for Sunday looking cloudy and chilly

Belfast looks set to have another dry day on the cards on Sunday with forecasters predicting a rather cloudy and chilly day.

The Met Office says the overnight rain will clear into Sunday morning but it will remain cloudy throughout the day. 

A Met Office spokesperson added: "The overnight rain will clear to the north through the morning but it will remain cloudy throughout the day. Maximum temperature 14 °C."

Elsewhere, the forecaster says some can expect a 'mostly dry day but chance of the odd shower'.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Frequent showers on Monday, easing through the day to allow some sunshine. Drier on Tuesday but turning wet and windy on Wednesday.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A dry and bright start to the period for many, although some rain is expected to push into western parts by Wednesday.

The mild and settled conditions are likely to remain for the rest of the week, but often cloudier, with a continued risk of mist and fog, particularly across eastern parts.

Any rain and strong winds are likely to be confined to the western areas.
