Belfast weather forecast for Sunday as NI set to enjoy week of sunshine

If you're planning on an outdoor adventure today you're in luck as Northern Ireland is set for a fine, dry day with plenty of sunshine.

According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, Sunday will see temperatures across NI reach 21 degrees with just a gentle breeze.

And the good news doesn't end there, it looks like we're about to get a prolonged spell of good weather this week as a mostly dry and warm week is also on the cards.

The outlook states: "Mainly dry and sunny. However low cloud and patchy light rain may occasionally feed across northern areas at times."

Temperatures are set to remain consistent with a high of 22 forecast for Monday while the rest of the week's temperatures will remain above 20 degrees.

Tonight the forecast shows temperatures dropping to around 8 degrees but it will remain a dry and clear night.
