Belfast weather forecast for St Patrick's Day

The Met Office say it will be dry and bright with some hazy sunshine this St Patrick's Day.

According to the weather forecast for Wednesday March 17, it's set to be dry and bright with some hazy sunshine and a ny mist or fog patches should clear in the morning.

Then it should be a dry and bright day, but with some cloud and light northwest winds. The maximum temperature is 14 C.

It will then be a mostly dry evening and night.

The forecaster added: "Mainly high level cloud to start the evening, but low cloud soon thickens. Some patchy light drizzle possible overnight. Minimum temperature 5 C."

Thursday will be a rather dull day "with fairly extensive low cloud".

The Met Office say this "may be thick enough to give the odd spot of patchy light drizzle at times" with a maximum temperature of 12 C.

Friday to Sunday will be a mostly cloudy few days. It's predicted to be largely dry, but some patchy light drizzle is possible over the weekend.
