Belfast weather forecast for Saturday shows in we're in for a sunny one

The Met Office has predicted and a sunny and dry Saturday.

According to its weather forecast for December 19, we are in for some cloud but there will be blue skies.

It said: "Clear periods and a few showers this evening. The rest of the night will see the chance of a few showers, these mainly in the west. Minimum temperature 6 °C."

It is predicted to be a mainly dry, but there is chance of a few showers later.

Sunrise is at 8.44am and is due to set again at 3.59pm.

The top temperature will be 9 degrees, dropping to 7 later in the evening.

Forecasters have also outlined their predictions for Sunday through to Wednesday. Here they are:

Sunday:

West rather cloudy with showers or longer periods of rain. Central and east mainly dry with brighter spells increasing into the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Rain on Monday, turning drier later. Turning colder and brighter on Tuesday and Wednesday, chance of a the odd shower in the north.
