Belfast weather forecast for Saturday looking dry but cloudy

We haven't had a bad run of weather this week and Saturday is expected to continue the mostly dry trend in Belfast.

The Met Office forecast for the city shows that although it's expected to be cloudy for most of the day, the sun should peek out from behind the clouds for a while around midday.

A hat might not even be needed as temperatures could reach as high as 10 degrees with some light winds.

The sun will be up at 7.39am and go down again at 4.35pm, which means we are gradually losing daylight as winter descends.

Here's what the Met Office says about NI:

Saturday: Fine, dry and sunny day for most with light winds. However some early mistiness which may be slow to burn off, also showery rain spreading from south during the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

With the winds turning to the south a rather cloudy and occasionally showery southerly flow looks set to dominate the outlook period.
