Belfast weather forecast for Monday looking wet and cold

It was a weekend to forget as Storm Aiden kicked up a fuss across Northern Ireland bringing heavy wind and rain.

And the weather forecast for Belfast on Monday November 2, is set to bring more unsettled weather.

The Met Office says the chance of more showers on Monday morning is likely, with nothing but clouds on the map.

They have predicted that we can expect "a rather cloudy day with occasional showers, even some longer spells of rain in places."

A Met Office spokesperson added: "Further areas of cloud and showery rain will cross the province this evening and tonight along with some drier clear interludes Minimum temperature 6 °C."

Elsewhere, the forecaster says some can expect "a few bright or sunny intervals mainly across Antrim and Down. Southern counties becoming breezy later".

Tuesday:

A cloudy start then brightening up with some sunny, spells though there will still be a few showers mainly across the north and west. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A dry and sunny day on Wednesday. Staying settled and dry on Thursday and Friday but colder with some night frosts and some patchy fog.
