Belfast weather forecast for Friday to be cloudy with rain throughout the day

The Met Office has predicted another dull day weather-wise for Northern Ireland on Friday with the odd shower expected.

According to its latest weather forecast, for November 27, it will be a cloudy day with some rainy spells throughout the afternoon and evening.

However, the forecaster said that some bright patches could be on the cards for some across the country.

"A largely cloudy day with the odd spot of rain at times, mainly towards the North Coast," the Met Office said.

"Some brightness coming through across Down and Armagh. Light winds.

"A cloudy evening with a few showers around. Skies will clear overnight allowing some patchy fog and frost to develop. Minimum temperature 1 °C."

Meanwhile, a chilly start has been predicted for the weekend with any fog slowly clearing on Saturday.

The Met Office added: "Otherwise it will be a dry day with sunny spells and light winds. Thicker cloud arriving from the south late in the day. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

"Mainly dry on Sunday with bright intervals."
