Belfast weather forecast for a wet and windy Wednesday

The Met Office say it's a cloudy start on Wednesday with some outbreaks of rain.

According to it's weather forecast for November 11, this will be heavy in places especially over high ground, but with a risk of some more intense bursts of rain in the afternoon causing localised flooding.

There will be windy, coastal gales and a maximum temperature of around 13 C.

For Wednesday night, the forecaster said: "Further rain for a time, locally intense in the east, then clearing from the west to leave a mainly dry night. Winds easing. Minimum temperature 8 C."

On Thursday, the Met Office predicts it will be dry bright morning with some sunshine.

It's set to be cloudier in the afternoon with rain spreading from the west, "some heavy with strengthening southerly winds." There will be a maximum temperature of 12 °C.

As we come into the weekend, it will be a windy few days with "bright or sunny intervals and showers".

Some more persistent rain is likely for a time on Saturday, so make sure to bring your coat and umbrella out with you!
