Belfast weather forecast for a rainy and cloudy Friday

The Met Office has predicted a cloudy Friday, with outbreaks of rain.

According to it's weather forecast for November 20, rain will be heaviest and most persistent early in morning - so don't forget your umbrella when you are out and about.

The forecaster added: "The rain becomes confined to the west in afternoon with brighter spells possible in east. Freshening southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 12 C."

There will be patchy rain in the west this evening, and it's set to be mainly dry in the east.

The forecaster predicts the rain will become more widespread and heavy overnight before clearing later.

It added: "Fresh southwesterly winds easing. Minimum temperature 7 C."

It's set to be a mainly dry morning with sunny spells on Saturday. It will be cloudier in the afternoon with showers spreading eastwards and a maximum temperature of 11 C.

The Met Office says there will be "further sunny spells and blustery showers on Sunday" with some "fresh westerly winds easing later".

Unfortunately, it will be cloudier on Monday and Tuesday with showers and longer spells of rain predicted for the beginning of next week.
