After a wet end to the day yesterday, forecasters predict sunny intervals this morning with cloud rolling in as the day goes on.

According to Met Office, expect a mainly dry with sunny spells which could possibly develop into the odd shower in places.

With the sun starting to appear again, we will begin to witness some Spring weather as temperatures will reach close to the average for this time of the year.

The weather forecaster also said to anticipate "mainly light winds" and that "it will feel warm in the sunshine".

"A dry and bright morning with some good spells of sunshine, however, cloud will bubble up and, while most places will remain dry, one or two showers will develop" they added.

Moving into the evening, we will witness some late sunshine which will be perfect for those planning on heading to an outdoor beer garden or restaurant tonight.

As for Tuesday night, Met Office said: "Some evening sunshine in north and west but increasing cloud brings outbreaks of showery rain to eastern counties by midnight. Mostly cloudy overnight with occasional rain for most."

The maximum temperature for Tuesday is 14°C and we are expected to have experience lows of 8 °C. Sunrise was at 5.26 am and will set again at 9.15 pm.

Looking to Wednesday, cloud will appear in the morning with the occasional shower creeping in throughout the day.

"A cloudy start with outbreaks of rain but soon becoming brighter with a few sunny spells developing along with occasional showers. The showers becoming heavy, perhaps thundery, in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C," Met Office explained.
