It will be dry with some late sunshine this evening and the rest of the night will stay dry and clear with a widespread frost.

The forecaster added: "Some freezing fog patches developing later. Minimum temperature -2 C."

There will be some overnight fog and low cloud dispersing in the morning on Saturday to leave a dry day with some spells of sunshine. It's set to be mild in the sunshine with a maximum temperature of 14 C.

And for the next few days including Easter Sunday, the Met Office said: "Dry for most of Sunday but rain spreading southeast later. Cold and bright on Monday and Tuesday with snow and hail showers."
