Belfast weather forecast for a cloudy Thursday with showers

The Met Office say it will be mainly cloudy on Thursday.

According to the weather forecast for March 4, a few showers are set to arrive in the afternoon.

It will be a dry morning with a few bright intervals.

The forecaster said: "A band of showers will spread southwest during the afternoon. Mainly light easterly winds, becoming fresh along the North Coast in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 7 C."

It's predicted to be a cloudy evening with a few showers but these will clear south. It will be dry for the rest of the night with clear spells leading to a frost with a minimum temperature of -1 C.

On Friday, there will be some frost at first but it's then set to be dry with sunny spells.

The Met Office say it will be dry for most of Saturday but some rain is set for later on in the day.

The forecaster added: "Mainly dry on Saturday. Turning a bit more unsettled on Sunday and Monday with outbreaks of rain at times. Some drier and brighter interludes. Breezy at times."
