Belfast weather forecast for a bright Thursday

The Met Office say Thursday will be bright with sunny spells.

According to the weather forecast for April 15, we are set for plenty of sunshine after a chilly start with patchy frost and fog.

The forecaster added: "It will feel rather warm in the afternoon sunshine. However, onshore winds keeping it cooler around the Irish Sea coast. Maximum temperature 15 C."

Any cloud will fade away during the evening with mainly clear skies overnight.

A frost will develop in some rural locations with a few mist or fog patches by dawn and a minimum temperature of -2 C.

Friday will be a dry and bright day with sunny spells, becoming rather warm inland after a chilly start, but slightly cooler around the County Down coast due to onshore winds, with a maximum temperature of 15 C.

It's expected to be dry for much of Saturday, brightest in the east but with patchy rain later on in the day.

The forecaster added: "Cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Sunday and Monday, occasionally heavy in the west."
