Temperatures are set to drop to minus 2 tonight with the Met Office warning of freezing fog patches.
And with a risk of ice and frost on the roads , salting is due to take place.
For tonight, the Met Office say: "Some freezing fog patches in the evening and start of the night, but these should clear as cloud increases overnight and a moderate southeast breeze develops. Minimum temperature -2C."
Trafficwatch NI said: "Road surface temperatures are forecast to fall below freezing this evening across the whole province and there is a risk of ice and frost on the roads.
"Salting of roads on the scheduled network is being undertaken this evening. Road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling."
And for tomorrow, the Met Office added: "A mostly dry start with some bright spells, but increasingly cloudy with rain spreading east, turning heavy in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 11C."
