Belfast weather forecast for a cloudy Monday

It's set to be mostly cloudy with some bright spells across Northern Ireland on Monday.

According to the Met Office's weather forecast for January 24, a few spells of rain are expected in the west in the morning time.

"Becoming brighter through the afternoon with the best of the sunny spells towards Foyle and North Coast. Maximum temperature 9C," the forecaster added.

Later on, it's set to be dry but a mostly cloudy night is predicted with light winds.

The Met Office said: "A few clear spells over northern counties may lead to a touch of frost in places. Minimum temperature 3C."

Tuesday is predicted to be another mostly cloudy day and feeling rather cold. Patchy light rain will spread south during the evening with a maximum temperature of 8C.
