Belfast weather for Wednesday to be cloudy

The Met Office say Wednesday is set to be a cloudy, but mostly dry day with some rain from the evening.

According to the weather forecast for January 27, there will be some "limited brighter spells during the morning, but otherwise rather dull with clouds thickening and lowering from the southwest through the afternoon, as winds turn to the east and freshen".

There will be a maximum temperature of 10 C.

Tonight, there's set to be periods of occasionally heavy rain spreading across Fermanagh, Tyrone and Armagh in the early evening.

The forecaster added: "Before reaching all parts late evening, and continuing overnight, as easterly winds increase to near gale force. Minimum temperature 2 C."

On Thursday, it's predicted to be cloudy with periods of rain which are set to turn heavy at times.

The Met Office said: "East to southeast winds strong, perhaps gale force, at first, easing gradually. Maximum temperature 11 C."

Cloud and rain will hit early on Friday but are set to clear as "dry and sunny conditions develop".

Saturday is predicted to be mainly dry and bright with light winds.

Snow then rain will spread from the west on Sunday.
