Today is set to be a cloudy but dry day across Belfast with only a very small chance of rain.

The Met Office forecasters has said that today will be a fairly dry day, with only a 10 per cent chance of rain across the city.

The temperature will stay steady throughout the day at around nine degrees, reaching 10 degrees at its warmest.

There will be a light wind throughout the day, with gusts picking up speed in the evening.

The sun will rise at 8.20am and set at 4.04pm.

Tonight could bring some fog in places across Northern Ireland and there could be patches of rain in the early hours of the morning.

The Met Office said: "Dry this evening, skies may clear for a time to allow some fog patches. Then rain will spread from the northwest in the early hours."

Tomorrow is set to be another cloudy day but with more of a chance of rain.

The forecasters said: " cloudy day with rain at times, this most persistent across the north. Turning drier by evening."
