Belfast weather: Cloud forecast across weekend with some warm and sunny moments

We're set to see mainly cloudy skies in Belfast this weekend, but there should be warm and sunny moments in between.

Highs of 19C are forecast by Met Office on Friday (July 30), with "cloudy changing to sunny intervals in the afternoon".

Just in time for your after-work drinks.

We're likely to see a shady start to Saturday (July 31) with cloud currently forecast up until around 2pm.

But from then on, the sun should shine for the rest of the day in Belfast, in time for Pride celebrations across the city.

We are forecast to enjoy highs of 18C on Saturday afternoon, which should cool to around 14C in the late evening.

If you're hoping to see some sunshine on the first of the month (Sunday, August 1) you'll have to be up early to see it.

It is forecast to be sunny at around 7am on Sunday, followed by a day of cloud and highs of around 16C.

It certainly won't be the heatwave we saw a few weeks back, but with any luck, we'll get to enjoy this weekend without a drop of rain in sight.
