Belfast weather: Bright and sunny throughout the day

It is set to be a bright and sunny day across Belfast today.

The Met Office forecasters have given their predictions for Tuesday, March 16, saying that it will be sunny for the vast majority of the day with light winds that will get a bit stronger around midday.

The maximum temperture will be 14 degrees, although it will feel one or two degrees colder.

The sun will rise at 6.37am and set at 6.29pm.

The Met Office said: "Any low cloud and patchy light drizzle clear eastward around dawn to leave a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Light to moderate northwest winds.

"(Tonight) Largely clear skies this evening. Mainly high level cloud will increase overnight with some patchy fog in places, but remaining dry. Northwest winds easing. Minimum temperature -2 °C."

Tomorrow is predicted to start with some fog in places which should clear by mid-morning, with a chance of some light showers in the afternoon.

The met Office said: "A dry start with some patchy fog in places. Cloud increases in the afternoon with some patchy light drizzle in the north. Light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C."
