Belfast Valentine's Day gift workshop for men happening this week

If you're a man who wants to surprise your other half with something special for Valentine's Day then read on.

Frugal Flair, who have previously organised workshops for flower arranging in Belfast, are hosting a new masterclass for men who want to give their partner a self-made, personalised gift this Valentine's Day.

The masterclass, which costs £18 and takes place at the Jeggy Nettle pub in South Belfast, will see each individual leave with a unique flower arrangement, a vase and a card - all while being able to drink a beer while they work.

Frugal Flair's description of the event reads: "This is the perfect excuse to go to the pub on a worknight. Your chance to prove that you really can be romantic by wowwing your partner, secret crush or friend with a beautiful handmade gift created by you.

"Who needs a weekend in Paris when your partner can boast about their boyfriend / admirer being so thoughtful as to make their own unique gift?"

On top of that, men who partake in the workshop can add the option of their gift being delivered to their partner on Valentine's Day, to surprise them to their home or workplace.

The description continues: "The session starts with getting the pints in. Following this, there'll be an introduction which will take you through the essentials of flower arranging, from choosing the perfect flowers and colour palette, to foraging & reusing items in your own home & garden.

"All materials are supplied and individuals will be given expert advice on how to make a beautiful arrangement. You will make a reusable vessel for your flowers which your loved one can cherish long after the arrangement has wilted.

"You will be encouraged to use your own Flair, but guided to suit your partner's style, from traditional, to shabby chic, to glamorous - and more."

As an added bonus, individuals who sign up are able take their dog along with them to the workshop.

This workshop will take place on February 13 at the Jeggy Nettle pub. Fore more details, go here.
